2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.
3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
40 There were also women looking on afar off: among among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
34 While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.
13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
18 And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.
9 And when James, James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw draw you before the judgment seats?
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted tempted with evil, neither tempteth he he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
25 Likewise Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
