1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, poverty, but thou art rich and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
