29 For he taught taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. therein.
26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
31 And the second is like, namely this, this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. therein.
26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: but the servants which drew the water knew; the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; ship; for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits, dragging the net with fishes.
10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
11 And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
19 But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; stumblingstone;
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
14 I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.
25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, again, I will not spare:
7 Now I pray to God that ye do do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.
14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
23 And whatsoever whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
9 But they shall proceed no further: further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
