3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling haling men and women committed them to prison.
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
4 So So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.
3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
4 But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot cannot be saved.
5 And so so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily. daily.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
7 And all the men were about twelve.
8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
3 And there abode three months. And when the Jews Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed purposed to return through Macedonia.
1 Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence which I make now unto you.
3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
1 And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
4 But But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart depart shortly thither.
4 My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;
9 I verily verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.
16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.
26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
36 For For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
12 And they called Barnabas, Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.
15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: therein:
22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
35 And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
12 Therefore Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
17 Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily daily daily with them that met with him.
22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
34 Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed: among the which was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
13 Saying, Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.
14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason reason would that I should bear with you:
32 Some therefore therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
37 For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
38 Wherefore Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
23 Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;
26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
28 Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
38 Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?
39 But Paul said, I am am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
18 So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
21 But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
22 So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
31 Then the soldiers, as it was commanded them, took Paul, and brought him by night to Antipatris.
11 For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar.
23 And on the morrow, when Agrippa was come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and was entered into the place of hearing, with the chief captains, and principal principal men of the city, at Festus' commandment Paul was brought forth.
24 And Festus said, King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.
21 But after long abstinence abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, Sirs, ye should should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
44 And the rest, some some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
11 And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.
17 And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning concerning this sect, we know know that every where it is spoken against.
24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as as as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
4 For while one saith, I I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
10 For his letters, letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
1 Paul, an apostle, apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
28 And in nothing nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
22 Which all are to perish with the using; after the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 Which things have indeed a shew shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once once and again; but Satan hindered us.
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
8 I will therefore that men pray every every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
