self denial

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: thee: it is better for thee to enter into into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
25 For whosoever whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
35 For whosoever whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, daily, and follow me.
24 For whosoever whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot cannot be my disciple.
27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,
36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, Barnabas, which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation, a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another another according to Christ Jesus:
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
15 But I have used none of these things: things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
14 But God forbid forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
