prophecies respecting christ

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
12 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
13 And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; Bethlehem; because he was of the house and lineage of David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do do for him after the custom of the law,
28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
43 And he said unto them, them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?
33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto whereunto also they were appointed.
