14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can can faith save him?
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
20 If a man say, say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
