³ For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

¹ And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

² And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:

⁵¹ Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
