3 And there abode three months. And when the Jews Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed purposed to return through Macedonia.
7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
4 But But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart depart shortly thither.
2 And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.
6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
14 And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason reason would that I should bear with you:
27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, despised, despised, and and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
13 And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
38 Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
27 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,
37 And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May May I speak speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
29 Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was afraid, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.
15 Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
20 And he said, said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
27 This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman.
30 And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait wait wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell.
10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.
