4 And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.
5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
7 And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
11 And God wrought special special miracles by the hands of Paul:
26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.
13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
39 But Paul said, I am am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
10 Then said Paul, I stand stand at Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as as thou very well knowest.
21 But when Paul had appealed to be reserved reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.
29 And Paul said, I would would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, almost, and altogether altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot cannot be saved.
