9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot cannot be saved.
4 And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.
6 And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.
8 And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
7 And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.
2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
28 And there they abode long long time with the disciples.
13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.
21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.
37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
12 Therefore Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
24 God that made the world and all things therein, therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
15 But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye ye to it; for I will be be no judge of such matters.
11 And God wrought special special miracles by the hands of Paul:
23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.
26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, despised, despised, and and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.
32 Some therefore therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
38 Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?
39 But Paul said, I am am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
11 And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
18 And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
22 And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.
12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
26 Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my lord. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.
29 And Paul said, I would would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, almost, and altogether altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot cannot be saved.
39 And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
14 Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.
