new testament

γίνομαι

9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
16 For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.
37 And they all wept wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,
14 And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.
30 And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.
40 And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,
10 And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.
12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, temperance, and judgment to come, come, Felix trembled, trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
4 God forbid: forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
6 God forbid: forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
2 God forbid. forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
1 I say then, then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
2 That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself myself also.
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: forbid: yea, we establish the law.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. forbid.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding exceeding sinful.
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. forbid.
29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been been as Sodoma, and been made like like unto Gomorrha.
20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
11 I say then, then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
16 That I should be be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
18 But as God is true, true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.
19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made made the head of the corner,
6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
