man

9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
11 And when he was come unto us, us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
39 But Paul said, I am am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
25 And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned?
17 Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
18 So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 God forbid: forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? I speak as a man
6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
18 Therefore Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
8 We are confident, I say, and and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.
2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; such an one caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I knew such a man, man, whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;
16 Wherefore henceforth henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
10 As the truth of Christ is in me, me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted tempted with evil, neither tempteth he he any man:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
