Luke 5:1

¹ And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, God, he stood stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

Luke 5:3

³ And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Luke 5:4

⁴ Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

Luke 5:5

⁵ And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Luke 5:8

⁸ When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Luke 6:1

¹ And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

Luke 6:3

³ And Jesus answering them them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;

Luke 6:5

⁵ And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Luke 6:6

⁶ And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose whose right hand was withered.

Luke 6:7

⁷ And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

Luke 6:8

⁸ But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

Luke 6:9

⁹ Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

Luke 7:1

¹ Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

Luke 7:3

³ And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.

Luke 7:4

⁴ And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:

Luke 7:6

⁶ Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:

Luke 7:7

⁷ Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.

Luke 7:9

⁹ When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Luke 8:1

¹ And it came to pass afterward, afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

³ And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

Luke 8:4

⁴ And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:

Luke 8:8

⁸ And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Luke 8:9

⁹ And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

Luke 5:10

¹⁰ And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

Luke 5:11

¹¹ And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Luke 5:12

¹² And it came to pass, when he was was in a certain city, city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

Luke 5:13

¹³ And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

Luke 5:14

¹⁴ And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Luke 5:15

¹⁵ But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

Luke 5:16

¹⁶ And he withdrew withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

Luke 5:17

¹⁷ And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

Luke 5:18

¹⁸ And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

Luke 5:19

¹⁹ And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

Luke 5:20

²⁰ And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Luke 5:22

²² But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

Luke 5:24

²⁴ But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, he said unto the sick of the palsy, I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

Luke 5:27

²⁷ And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

Luke 5:28

²⁸ And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

Luke 5:29

²⁹ And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down down with them.

Luke 5:30

³⁰ But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

Luke 5:31

³¹ And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Luke 5:32

³² I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Luke 5:33

³³ And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

Luke 5:34

³⁴ And he said unto them, them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

Luke 5:36

³⁶ And he spake also a parable unto them; them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.

Luke 6:10

¹⁰ And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

Luke 6:11

¹¹ And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another another what they might do to Jesus.

Luke 6:12

¹² And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night night in prayer to God.

Luke 6:13

¹³ And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;

¹⁴ Simon, Simon, whom he also named Peter, and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,

Luke 6:17

¹⁷ And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

Luke 6:19

¹⁹ And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

Luke 6:20

²⁰ And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Luke 6:22

²² Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Luke 6:27

²⁷ But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Luke 6:35

³⁵ But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Luke 6:39

³⁹ And he spake a parable unto them, them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

Luke 6:46

⁴⁶ And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

⁴⁷ Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

Luke 7:11

¹¹ And it came to pass pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

Luke 7:12

¹² Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

Luke 7:13

¹³ And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

Luke 7:14

¹⁴ And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.

Luke 7:15

¹⁵ And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

Luke 7:17

¹⁷ And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

Luke 7:19

¹⁹ And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

Luke 7:20

²⁰ When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

²¹ And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.

Luke 7:22

²² Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

Luke 7:23

²³ And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Luke 7:24

²⁴ And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

Luke 7:26

²⁶ But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.

Luke 7:27

²⁷ This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Luke 7:28

²⁸ For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

²⁹ And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

Luke 7:31

³¹ And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

Luke 7:34

³⁴ The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

Luke 7:36

³⁶ And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

Luke 7:38

³⁸ And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Luke 7:39

³⁹ Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

Luke 7:40

⁴⁰ And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

Luke 7:42

⁴² And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

Luke 7:43

⁴³ Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

Luke 7:44

⁴⁴ And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

Luke 7:45

⁴⁵ Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

Luke 7:46

⁴⁶ My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

Luke 7:47

⁴⁷ Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

Luke 7:48

⁴⁸ And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Luke 7:49

⁴⁹ And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?

Luke 7:50

⁵⁰ And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Luke 8:10

¹⁰ And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Luke 8:19

¹⁹ Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.

Luke 8:20

²⁰ And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.

Luke 8:21

²¹ And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Luke 8:22

²² Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

Luke 8:23

²³ But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

Luke 8:24

²⁴ And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Luke 8:25

²⁵ And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, another, What manner of man man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Luke 8:27

²⁷ And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long long time, and ware no clothes, neither neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

Luke 8:28

²⁸ When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
