6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. openly.
2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
1 The same day day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
32 And whosoever whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof thereof in the day of judgment.
57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, sea, they were about two thousand; and were choked in the sea.
1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, God, he stood stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose whose right hand was withered.
7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
16 And he withdrew withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
34 And he said unto them, them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night night in prayer to God.
16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.
21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long long time, and ware no clothes, neither neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
