13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
17 Because thou sayest, sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
