ἄνθρωπος

8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
19 Whosoever Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, you, They have their reward.
27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof thereof in the day of judgment.
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
28 Even so ye also also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and and carest carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
21 The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever Whosoever shall confess confess me before men, men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
35 And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.
35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
39 But Paul said, I am am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.
16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, men, another flesh of beasts, beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
8 And here here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
