7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
20 If a man say, say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
