13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil evil against you falsely, for my sake. sake.
32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
32 And whosoever whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart apart in the way, and said unto them,
55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, privately,
3 And being being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, sea, they were about two thousand; and were choked in the sea.
31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
33 And he took him aside aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, privately, Why could not we cast him out?
49 I was daily daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.
55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.
57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,
1 And it came to pass afterward, afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do do for him after the custom of the law,
42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
10 And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, daily, and follow me.
50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.
23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
47 And he taught taught daily daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
53 When I was daily daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:
7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.
29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?
31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
42 And daily daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
31 Then Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
19 And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another another according to Christ Jesus:
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, began,
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, began,
