8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
19 Whosoever Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, hundredfold, some sixty, sixty, some thirty.
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
33 And he shall set set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and and carest carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, said, He is a good man: others others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
41 And many resorted unto him, and said, said, John did no no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
22 And ye ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
4 But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
23 Saying, Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found no man within.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
21 But after long abstinence abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, Sirs, ye should should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
8 But unto them that are contentious, contentious, and do not obey obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
10 For his letters, letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
28 And in nothing nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some some to honour, and some to dishonour.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
8 And here here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
21 For those priests were were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw draw you before the judgment seats?
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
