6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth meaneth this?
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
1 And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.
9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
24 Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto whereunto this would grow.
29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.
60 And he kneeled down, down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
10 And this was done done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
18 And this did she she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
36 And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.
18 Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will will this babbler say? say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, despised, despised, and and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
22 And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.
26 When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: doest: for this man is a Roman.
28 And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.
13 And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.
17 Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
10 Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
32 Then said Agrippa unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar.
21 But after long abstinence abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, Sirs, ye should should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning concerning this sect, we know know that every where it is spoken against.
