18 And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
10 Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
1 I say then, then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted tempted with evil, neither tempteth he he any man:
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
